The luxury of having time to think, plan, and create is a wonderful gift. I felt like a college student again. A dorm room, meals that were prepared and the dishes cleaned up. No laundry, no responsibilities except for myself and my studies. The ability to concentrate and think about the knowledge gained and applications for UW was an experience that I will treasure forever.
Although today was a packed day of evidence based management lectures and a group process experience, the excitement of learning was tinged with the recognition that we are all leaving tomorrow.
We had a debrief at the end of class today and there were great stories as well as a few tears. Then tonight was a graduation dinner and diplomas. Now we are official Stanford alumni. This gives us access to great information from the Stanford Innovation Center as well possible MBA interns.
I could never capture in this blog all the great ideas that have been discussed, the relationships that have been nurtured and the clarity that I have discovered about myself, my work and my future. I can only commit to share as much as I can with the CR community and UW.
Signing off from Stanford. Back to CR tomorrow. See you all next week.
